Julie Hrudová (Prague, 1988) works and lives in Amsterdam. In her work she plays - without staging - with reality, by capturing the absurdity and alienation of the everyday. Her work has appeared in many publications and been exhibited at home and abroad. Between 2020 and 2021 she took a weekly city photo of Amsterdam for Het Parool. She later bundled the photos from this series in her first photo book called Chasing Amsterdam. Hrudová is a member of the international photography collective Burn My Eye and she curates the StreetRepeat account on Instagram, which focuses on repetitions and trends within street photography.
